About Us

TMA Slovakia contributes to the education of people, who deal with the topic of insolvency.

TMA Slovakia organizes events, which are the main meeting place for lawyers, bankers, investors, administrators and people, who professionally deal with solvency and its solutions, and thus it allows for a mutual exchange of experience, opinions and knowledge.

In addition to organizing official meetings, the aims of the association are also meetings and networking of individual TAM members.

TMA Slovakia contributes to the education of people, who deal with the topic of insolvency and an overall cultivation of the legal and economic environment related to the insolvency of companies and its solution.

Membership of persons in TMA Slovakia

TMA Slovakia has 37 members, the rights and obligations of whom are defined in the statues of the c.a. The membership of persons in TMA Slovakia is approved by voting at board meetings. It is possible to apply for it by filling out our form and sending a professional CV.

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is responsible for the functioning of the TMA.

The Board of Directors meets regularly several times a year. At these meetings, its members mutually consult matters related to the direction of the TMA, approve new memberships and decide on all important steps through voting.

Chairman of the Association

Mgr. Viliam Myšička

Viliam is a partner in the Kinstellar law firm, where he covers the area of restructuring and insolvency at the company-wide level. He works at the Bratislava branch of the company and has over fifteen years of experience in the field. In the past, he successfully led the team in many problematic transactions, bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings, as well as restructuring of companies. His clients include, among others, the E.ON company, Dubai Aerospace Enterprise, Faisal Private Bank, the BE Group, Opel, S&T or General Motors. Viliam is a member of the Association of Bankruptcy Administrators of the Slovak Republic and currently he also leads a working group for restructuring and insolvency on the ground of the American Chamber of Commerce in Slovakia.

In addition to restructuring and insolvency, he deals mainly with fusions, acquisitions and real estate and he has extensive experience with consulting for the client in the field of technologies, media and telecommunications. Since 2011, he is certified to provide legal council also in England and Whales.

Vice-Chairman of the Association

Mgr. Renátus Kollár

Renátus is a partner in the Allen Overy Shearman Sterling law firm in Bratislava, where he leads the department of bank and financial law. He specializes in consulting for the domestic and foreign financial institutions in the field of bankruptcies and restructuring, corporate finance transactions and financial transactions in the fields of acquisition, project and real estate. Renátus participated on the preparation of key legal regulations in the field of restructuring, bankruptcy and collateral in Slovakia.

Secretary

Mgr. et Mgr. Ivana Kováčová

Ivana is an assistant and secretary of TMA Slovakia. She studied ethnology and marketing and worked different jobs, where she trained her organizational and communication skills. She carries out her work in the TAM SK civil association with joy and enthusiasm.

prof. JUDr. Mária Patakyová, CSc.

Prof. Mária Patakyová deals with the topic of restructuring as part of her academic activities as a university teacher at the Komenský University in Bratislava, Faculty of Law. Her domain is primarily the issue of responsibility for the performance of the function of the statutory bodies’ members and their actions with professional care and loyalty to this group, which represents the beneficiaries in a specific stage of a company’s existence, as well as application of claims by the company’s creditors.

doc. JUDr. Ing. Jaroslav Dolný, PhD.

Jaroslav is a partner in the Origon Recovery Solutions special administrator and an assistant professor at the Department of Business and Economic Law at the Faculty of Law at the

UPJŠ in Košice. He specializes in the field of bankruptcies and restructuring in his professional, as well as scientific function. He is the author of many papers and publications in the field of insolvency law. He regularly participates in the commenting on regulations in the field of bankruptcies and restructuring.

Ing. Peter Brecik

Peter has more than 17 years of experience in the field of banking and corporate work-out. Since 2019, he works in the Tatra Bank as the head of the Corporate Work Out department, which primarily covers the restructuring of corporate loans and real estate project financing loans. Peter primarily focuses on the analyses of financial models of the restructured companies and their valuation.

Mgr. Richard Nejezchleb

Richard is one of the founding members of TMA SK and also a member of the Board of Directors. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the Komenský University in Bratislava. He has been working in the field of Banking & Finance for over 15 years in various managerial positions in the field of risk management. He currently leads the Special Credit department in the UniCredit Bank, which focuses on the topic of restructuring, insolvencies and systematic management of the bank’s failed portfolio in the Czech and the Slovak Republic. As part of his practice, he participated on the solution of many prominent corporate restructurings and insolvency solutions in both countries.

Ing. Lukáš Žilinčík

Lukáš is one of the founding members of TMA SK. He is a graduate of the Economic University in Bratislava and the Rotterdam School of Management. He has been dealing in corporate banking for over 13 years. He currently leads the Corporate Restructuring & Workout team in the Slovak Savings Bank. Throughout his professional practice, he participated in several prominent restructurings of companies and real estate projects. He has been dealing with the topic of restructuring, crisis management and turnaround for most of professional practice.

Pavol Pravda

Pavol is a partner in the PwC Consulting Company in Bratislava, where he leads the department of transactional consulting. He specializes in consulting for financial and strategic investors as part of company purchase/sale (financial and commercial due diligence, valuation services, comprehensive consulting during the company sale and their integration) and as part of restructurings (independent audits).

Ing. Vladimír Horváth

Vladimír is one of the founding members of TMA SK. He has been working in banking since 2005 and since 2010 he is leading the Corporate Restructuring department in the VÚB Bank. He focuses mainly on the restructurings and revitalization of companies in the field of large corporate clients and as an SME, also in the field of real estate projects in the Slovak and Czech market.
